Beta (time signal)

Beta is a predominantly specific for military application time signal service in Russia.

The stations transmit at predetermined times time information on the frequency 25 kHz. Further synchronization signals are transmitted at frequencies of 20.5 kHz, 23 kHz, 25.1 kHz and 25.5 kHz. Outside of the transmission times of the time information is also coded information is sent occasionally.
