The Bethel Airport ( IATA: BET, ICAO: PABE ) is a public airport located 6 km southwest of Bethel.
According to records of the U.S. Federal Aviation Authority in 2010 a total of 140 291 entries were recorded.
History
Construction of the airport began on 21 September 1941 and was taken on July 4, 1942 under the name Bethel Air Base in operation. It was used mainly for stopovers of so-called Lend-Lease Fluzeugen, which were taken to Siberia.
