Biała Góra, West Pomeranian Voivodeship

Biała Góra ( German Ball Mountain, Kr Belgard ) is a village in Poland, to the rural community Rabino ( United Rambin ) is in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in powiat Świdwiński. About 14 kilometers south of Białogard ( Belgard ), it is situated on the road from Tychówko ( Woldisch Tychow ) to Rabino, north of the 140 meter high mountain called Dębogórze ( Domgohren mountain).

History

Biała Góra was until 1945 a Pomeranian village in Belgard county. Documents from 1523 still know the old name Bold mountain.

Formerly a fief of the Zozenow family gets ball mountain on March 1, 1694 the possession of Marx and Zabel Wolde. In 1713 it was sold to Kapsar von Sydow. After further numerous different owners over the mountain was settled in 1935 and 1935.

In 1867, the village has 156 inhabitants, in 1939 there were 280 last managed 37 farms the Ballenberger field marks.

In March 1945, Ball Mountain was occupied by troops of the Red Army. As a result of the war, the city became part of Poland. The local population had to leave the village until 1946.

Today Biała Góra part of Gmina Rabino. Between the Mogilica ( Muglitz ) in the west and the Bukowa ( Buckow ) in the east there are only a few kilometers to the train station Rabino at the track Stargard ( Pomerania ) - Koszalin - Gdansk Polish Railways ( PKP) and also according to the voivodeship Tychówko # 163 that Kolobrzeg and Wałcz ( German crown) connects.

Church

Ball Mountain had no church of their own. It belonged until 1945 to the parish church Woldisch Tychow in Belgard county in Pomerania church of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union. The church patronage was shared by the landowners of the parish places. Ball Mountain was last represented by the landowner Hermann forging. In 1940, a total of 1600 belonged to the parish church members. Last German pastor was Alfred Bidder.

Today Biała Góra belongs to Parafia ( parish ) Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Wielkopolska the Kościół Ewangelicko - Augsburski ( Luterański ) w Polsce ( Evangelical - Augsburg Church in Poland).

School

The village school existed until 1945. Past your head were the teachers hero Otto and Walter Fulde. In the castle of the good, there was also a kindergarten.

Sight

Worth seeing is the old manor - park from the 19th century.
