The name comes from the Indian chief Big Foot Chief Big Foot ( Potawatomi Maumksuck / Mmangzed, French Gros Pied ).

Trails

The Big Foot Beach State Park, there are a total of eight miles of hiking trails through woods and meadows. In addition to these short hiking trails, there is also a nature trail.
