Blackstar Amplification

Blackstar Amplification is a British manufacturer of amplifiers and effect pedals for electric guitars, based in Northampton.

History

The company was founded in 2004 by four friends who had previously played in a band and all were involved in the development of guitar amps. They decided to unite and establish in their own businesses guitar amplifier according to their ideas. According to the company they started in a garden shed with the construction of the first devices.

2007, the first amplifier were presented at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. In fact, the device quickly found also well-known musicians who used the products, such as Gus G. ( Ozzy Osbourne ) or Neal Schon ( Journey ).

The amplifier and effects devices are manufactured in the Asian region, which have no influence on the quality of products according to the manufacturer.

Guitar amplifier

High and low input per channel, channels crossfaded. The Artisan series provides a very classic vintage sound and forms the top of the product range.

Guitar Effects

  • LT pedals: It involves various distortion that all offer a different sound. They are operated with tubes and offer the ISF equalizer for controlling the tube from American to British sound.
  • HT- Pedals: The pedals are LT- distortion with tube technology. They are priced located above the LT series and offer more flexibility. These ever get an echo, a reverb and a modulation pedal with tube technology, which have numerous control options. Through the tube technology, a very warm sound to be achieved.
