Bland Shire

Bland is located in the south of the Central West region about 460 km west of the city of Sydney and 280 km north- west of the Australian capital Canberra. The area includes 68 districts and towns, including Barmedman, Bland, Boddigower, Clear Ridge, Gubbata, Gunn, Hannan, Naradhan, Tallimba, Ungarie, Weethalle, Wyalong, West Wyalnong, Yalgogrin and parts of Barellan, Mirrool, Quandialla and Weja. The seat of the Shire Council is located in West Wyalong in the eastern half of the LGA, where about 3,000 inhabitants.

Management

The Bland Shire Council has nine members, who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Bland is not divided into districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
