Blessthefall
Blessthefall is a five-piece post-hardcore band from Phoenix, Arizona.
Biography
The band evolved from the sessions to high school times Drummer Matt and guitarist Mike. With singer Craig and bassist Jared initially completed their line- up and called themselves blessthefall.
In mid-2005 they took on the additional guitarist Eric EP Black Rose Dying. With appearances with Greeley Estates in the greater Phoenix area and an open religious beliefs they were helped by the local press and the Warner subsidiary Record Collection. Then they toured with bands like Alesana and Norma Jean across the entire North American continent.
Another self-titled EP, and finally their debut album His Last Walk was published in 2007. That same year she also participated in the Vans Warped Tour. This September and October they toured with Escape the Fate, Love Hate Hero and various other bands in the Black on Black tour, as well as support for eg Silverstein.
Singer Craig left the band during this tour mid-December 2007 to start as a singer in Escape the Fate. During the last European appearances bassist Jared jumped as a singer in order not to let the scheduled performances burst, the bass was a temporary bass player named Aiden to see.
Then took guitarist Eric Lambert singing and bassist Jared Warth the background vocals. In 2008, she played on the Taste of Chaos tour alongside bands such as Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold.
On 25 September 2008 she presented with Beau Bokan (ex -Take the Crown ) in front of their new singer. The song To Hell and Back should provide a little insight into the new album and working with the new vocalist. The recordings for the new album were made in November 2008.
The second studio album Witness was released on 6 October 2009 via Fearless Records, which ended up with over 11,000 copies sold in its first week at number 56 on the Billboard charts.
On 24 February 2011 it was announced on the band's website that the guitarist Mike Frisby left the band to pursue a new life. He is replaced by Elliott Gruenberg, who was previously at Legacy.
On 16 August 2011, the single Promised Ones appeared. A song from the new album Awakening.
On 26 June 2013, the band released the song You Wear A Crown But You're No King, the first single from the album Hollow Bodies, which was released on 20 August 2013.
