Bloodthirst (English for blood thirst) is the seventh studio album by the American death metal band Cannibal Corpse.
Genesis
It is the first studio album, which was no longer in the Morrisound Recordings Studios in Tampa, Florida. It was recorded at Village Productions studio in Tornillo, Texas.
For the CD, there are two covers: The original version, in which a winged creature a human being mauled and the censored version, which shows a similar abstract being on a pile of bones.
Achievements
Bloodthirst rose in the debut week at # 32 on the Billboard Charts Heatseakers. The German magazine Rock Hard chose the album at # 7 on the " Top 25 Death Metal albums of all time ".
