Blue Blink

Aoi Blink ( Jap.青い ブリンク, Aoi Burinku, dt " blue flash ") is an anime television series that was produced in 1989 under the direction and on an idea by Osamu Tezuka.

Content

The boy Kakeru saves the blue pony Blink, which has fallen into a heavy storm in trouble. Amazingly, the pony talk and promises to rush to help Kakeru when he calls it. As Kakeru after the holidays returns home, his father has been kidnapped. With the help of Blink, he is now looking for his father.

Production and publication

The series was produced by Tezuka Productions in 1989, directed by Osamu Tezuka and Seitaro Hara. The concept comes from Osamu Tezuka, who also designed the character design together with Kazuhiko Utagawa. The artistic director has held Kazuo Okada. The first broadcast of the anime took place on April 7, 1989 to March 16, 1990 NHK instead.

An English version was broadcast as Blue Flashing in Hawaii, Telecinco broadcast the anime in Spain, RaiDue in Italy. There also exist translations into French, Arabic and Tagalog.

The music of the series was composed by Hiroaki Serizawa. The header title is Hitomi no Naka no Mirai (瞳 の 中 の 未来) by Yoko Minamino, the credits song Makenaide Yūki (負けないで 勇気) comes from Shinobu Nakayama.
