Blue Horizon

Blue Horizon Records was a British Blue Label, which was founded in the mid -1960s by Mike Vernon. It was the most important label of the British blues scene, and besides English artists also released albums by American blues artists. A license and distribution agreement with CBS has been completed and several albums by American artists were released on license basis, but Mike Vernon also produced many of his own recordings. To 1971, the label is a production, its publications are now rare collectors pieces. Now and then it came to re-release on Sire Records and Line Records, but it was only in the 2000s remastered Mike Vernon recordings and made them so Blue enthusiast accessible again.
