Bluetooth Special Interest Group

The Bluetooth Special Interest Group ( SIG) is a community of interests now more than 8000 companies that are interested in the development and dissemination of the Bluetooth technology. It was founded in 1998 by Ericsson, IBM, Intel, Nokia and Toshiba. 1999 were added 3Com, Lucent, Microsoft and Motorola.

Bluetooth SIG is the owner of the Bluetooth trademark and editor of the Bluetooth specification.
