Bob Kulick

Bob Kulick ( born January 16, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American rock musician and record producer.

Career

Kulick played in the early 1970s in various local bands in New York and was among other things, with Patti LaBelle on tour. In January 1973 he was one of the guitarists who were shortlisted for the original cast of Kiss. Although it was selected in his place as guitarist Ace Frehley, he remained in contact with Kiss singer Paul Stanley. He worked then as a studio musician among other things for Lou Reed on his album Coney Iceland baby and was together with his brother Bruce member of the touring band of Meat Loaf during the Bat Out Of Hell tour and the Bat Tour 2 First, without naming names, he played on some the title of the album Kiss Alive II, a year later he played on Paul Stanley's solo album. In the early 1980s he worked as a studio musician among other things, photographs of Diana Ross, Was (Not Was ) and Michael Bolton involved and support Kiss in the recording of their album Creatures of the Night. In 1984, he recommended Kiss his brother Bruce as the new lead guitarist. Until the late 1980s, he played for the Neverland Express, Meat Loaf's touring band. He also played on several studio albums by WASP

Later Kulick also began working as a music producer. For Motörhead he produced the Grammy-winning title Whiplash Award. He composed and produced the title Sweet Victory for an episode of the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. He also produced several tribute albums, for which he won each class musicians. For Humanary Stew - A Tribute to Alice Cooper these included Dave Mustaine, Roger Daltrey, Ronnie James Dio and Bruce Dickinson; to Butchering The Beatles had, among other things, Billy Gibbons, Lemmy Kilmister and Billy Idol with. In 2008 he produced a Christmas album, on which, among other things, Dave Grohl, Tony Iommi, Chuck Billy and Tim Owens reinterpreted well-known carols.
