Bob Nelson (screenwriter)

Bob Nelson ( born July 18, 1956 in Yankton, South Dakota) is an American screenwriter.

Life

For years Nelson worked as an actor and writer for television, including the show Almost Live! . 2013 was produced on the basis of his screenplay of the film Nebraska. For Nelson, this was the first feature film in which he was involved. For his screenplay, he was nominated in 2014 for Best Original Screenplay for the Oscar in the category. In addition, he received, among others a nomination for the Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay, as well as at the British Academy Film Awards 2014.
