The municipality consists of the villages Bettnau, Bodolz, Bruggach, Paving, Enzisweiler, Hochsträß, mid book and Taubenberg.

Neighboring communities

Bodolz has only two neighboring municipalities, the district town of Lindau (Bodensee ) in the east and the town of Wasserburg in the West. History

The Fugger acquired in 1592 with the reign Wasserburg also Bodolz. A year later, the Fugger received from Lindauer Damenstift nor their possessions in Bodolz - together with the rule rights.
