The municipality consists of the villages Bettnau, Bodolz, Bruggach, Paving, Enzisweiler, Hochsträß, mid book and Taubenberg.

Neighboring communities

Bodolz has only two neighboring municipalities, the district town of Lindau (Bodensee ) in the east and the town of Wasserburg in the West. The municipality borders not to Lake Constance; its southernmost point is 310 meters from the lake shore and separated from it by the Lindau district Schachen. History
