The Bogd Khan (Mongolian Богд хаан ), Ngawang Lobsang Chokyi full name Nyima Tenzin Wangchuk (Mongolian Агван лувсан чойжинн ямданзан ванчүг, Agwan Luwsan Tschoidschin Jamdanzan Wantschüg; Tibetan wylie: dbang blo bzang chos kyi ngag nyi ma bstan 'dzin dbang phyug, also Bogd Jebtsun Damba Hutuchtu * 1869/1870 in Lhasa, † April 17, 1924 (20 April 1924) in Urga ) was the eighth Jebtsundamba Khutukhtu, so the religious leader of Buddhism in Mongolia. Life

The Bogd Khan was born in 1869 or 1870 after the death of the seventh Jebtsundamba Khutukhtu, ie, the spiritual leader of Mongolia, in Lhasa in Tibet.
