Bogusławiec

Bogusławiec ( German Charlottenhof ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. It is the Gmina Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg rural community ).

Geographical location

The village is located in Eastern Pomerania on the province road 102 between Trzebiatów ( Treptow an der Rega ) in the west and Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg) in the east, about 100 kilometers northeast of Stettin.

Immediately west of the village includes the living space Sobiemierz ( Sophienhof ) to, directly east of the village of the living space Budzimskie (base coupler skating ). About three kilometers north-west of the village lies Drzonowo ( Drenow ).

History

From 1772 Good Drenow were carried out various improvements in the area granted for King Frederick II financial support. This included the installation of a new settlement in the eastern part of the district Drenow.

This settlement was named Charlottenhof after a daughter of the former landowner. It consisted initially of a Vorwerk of goods Drenow and three farm sites and several Büdnerstellen in the form of a row settlement.

In the mid-19th century the road from Kolberg was applied to Treptow an der Rega and guided by Charlottenhof; this road was later a section of National Highway 161 As a result of road construction Charlottenhof was the first place in the area post office and telegraph station. This was transferred later ( after 1884 ) to Zarben; in Charlottenhof was until 1945 a post office rescue point.

After the formation of agricultural estates in the 19th century Charlottenhof belonged partly to Gutsbezirk Drenow, partly to rural community Drenow. With the division of the estate Drenow the Gutsbezirk was dissolved in 1910, so that Charlottenhof now fully belonged to the rural community. As part of the rural community Drenow Charlottenhof belonged until 1945 to the Kolberg- Körlin the Prussian province of Pomerania.

After 1945 came Charlottenhof how completely Pomerania to Poland. It was given the Polish name Bogusławiec, the population was replaced by Poland.

Bogusławiec forms a mayor's office in the Gmina Kolobrzeg ( Kolberg rural municipality ) of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. To the mayor's office and the living spaces Sobiemierz ( Sophienhof ) and Budzimskie include (base coupler skating ).
