Boom Jinx

Boom Jinx ( born September 10, 1974 in Bergen, actually Øistein Johan Eide ) is a Norwegian DJ and music producer in the field of trance and progressive.

Biography

Boom Jinx began in 1989 at the age of 15 years to produce music. He had a successful career in film, television and video game industry where he has music for the video game Need for Speed ​​and the television series CSI, among others: Miami produced. From 2005 he turned increasingly to the electronic dance music. Soon, Above & Beyond were aware of him and took him under contract with their label Anjunabeats. His songs also received support from other known DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk and Markus Schulz.

Most recently, he collaborated on several songs with Andrew Bayer. Especially the songs "To the Six" and "Quad Core" have been extremely successful and were played as Record of the Week in Above & Beyonds radio show Trance Around the World. In November 2009 he accompanied Above & Beyond as the opening act on their first U.S. tour in 15 cities.

Since 2009 Boom Jinx working on his debut album which will be released in 2012.
