Paul van Dyk [ fandʏk ] ( born December 16, 1971 in ironworks city as Matthias Paul ) is a German DJ, music producer and radio presenter.

Paul van Dyk grew up in East Berlin. In addition to training as a communications engineer and carpenter in the GDR, he soon turned to the music.
