Boonsak Ponsana

Boonsak Ponsana ( Thai: บุญ ศักดิ์ พล ส นะ; born February 22, 1982 in Bangkok ) is a Thai national badminton player.

Career

Boonsak played at the 2004 Olympics in the men's singles, beating Chris Dednam from South Africa and Lee Hyun- il from South Korea in the first two rounds. In the quarterfinals, he defeated Ronald Susilo of Singapore with 15:10, 15:1. Boonsak came into the semi-final, which he lost to Taufik Hidayat from Indonesia with 15:9, 15:2. In the bronze medal match he lost a re- Indonesians, this time Sony Dwi Kuncoro 15:11, 17:16 and finished fourth.
