Borko Ristovski

Borko Ristovski ( Macedonian Борко Ристовски; born November 2, 1982 in Skopje) is a Macedonian handball goalkeeper. He played in the Handball - Bundesliga for VfL Gummersbach and is keeper of the Macedonian national handball team.

Career

His career as a player began Ristovski 1999 RK Makedonija (now RK Metalurg Skopje). After a year he went to RK Jug and from 2001 to 2003, he played for RK Vardar Vatrostalna; thereafter for three years for RK Metalurg Skopje. The first Macedonian players moved Ristovstiki 2006 in the Spanish league ASOBAL. There he first played for SD Teucro, then for Algeciras BM. Then he returned to his homeland and played for three years at RK Metalurg Skopje. 2010 he moved to local rivals RK Vardar Skopje. In February 2012, Ristovski was obliged by VfL Gummersbach. He was awarded a contract by mid- 2014. In February, he left the VfL ​​and moved to Qatari club Al- Ahly.

In the European Handball Championship 2012 in Serbia Ristovski was one of the best goalkeepers in the tournament.
