Borne, Drawsko County
Borne ( Born German ) is a village in Poland in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The place is part of the municipality Ostrowice in powiat Drawski. To the mayor's office Borne consists of the villages Jutrosin and Kolno.
Geography
Borne is located in north-western Poland. To the east of the village lies the Jezioro Ostrowiec southeast of the village of Jezioro Dołgie both about a kilometer from the village. In the same distance to the northwest of Jezioro Niecino is.
History
Before 1945, Born formed a community of Pomerania of the Prussian province of Pomerania.

In the village is the neo-Romanesque Maximilian Kolbe Church.
Economy and infrastructure
Through the village the voivodship road runs 173 ( droga wojewódzka nr 173). This ends in the south to about 13 kilometers in the district town Drawsko Pomorskie, in the north to about 20 miles in Połczyn -Zdrój.
A rail connection does not own the place.
The nearest international airport is Szczecin - Goleniów, about 70 kilometers to the west.
