Botany Swarm is a New Zealand ice hockey team from Auckland, which was founded in 2005 and plays in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League. Play their home games from the club at Paradice Botany. With four league titles Botany Swarm is New Zealand 's most successful club.

History

The club was founded in 2005 under the name South Auckland Swarm established together with the New Zealand Ice Hockey League, where he was one of four founding members. In their first season the team only reached the third of four courses in the regular season. Then the team moved three times in a row in the finals. First, the 2006 team lost just with 3:3 and 4:5 against Southern Stampede. After renaming in Botany Swarm before the 2007 season, the team was champion twice in a row and sat down by each against the Canterbury Red Devils. First in 2007 with 7:0 and finally narrow 3:2 nV in the 2008 season.

By a 3-1 final victory over the West Auckland Admirals to Botany Swarm secured in the 2010 season the championship again. A year later, they won 5-3 against Southern Stampede and is equipped with four titles sole record champions New Zealand.
