West Auckland Admirals

The West Auckland Admirals Hockey Club are a New Zealand from Auckland, which was founded in 2005 and plays in the New Zealand Ice Hockey League. Their home games discharged from the Admirals Paradice Avondale.

History

The West Auckland Admirals were founded in 2005 together with the New Zealand Ice Hockey League, in which they were one of four founding members. In their first season they reached the second place in the regular season and thus qualified for the finals, where they lost Southern Stampede with 1:2 and 3:6. It was followed by two fourth places and thus last before they were in 2008, although again in fourth, but by now five participants in the NZIHL.

In the 2010 season, the Admirals were able to move for the second time in the club's history in the final of the NZIHL, however, subject again to the opponent, this time Botany Swarm, with 1:3.
