Bougadoum

Boû Gâdoûm or Bougadoum, Arabic بوكادوم, is a city of the administrative unit Hodh Ech Chargui in the southeast of the West African state of Mauritania. The city lies near the border with the neighboring state of Mali and can be reached at an impasse of Néma south.

For the population of the city lie before 2000 No data, however, it rose steadily. In 2000, it reached 29 045, 2005, the population of the city was estimated to be 32 749. It was thus in 2005 on the list of largest cities of Mauritania on position 9 and was the second largest city in Hodh Ech Chargui to Adel Bagrou and before the capital Néma.
