Bounty Bob Strikes Back!

Bounty Bob Strikes Back is a Jump ' n' Run, which was first published in 1984 by the company Big Five Software for the Atari 800 game Miner 2049er as the successor of (Micro Fun, 1982).

Gameplay

The aim of the game is to run off a scaffold and thereby completely stain the scaffold floor with the character "Bounty Bob" in each 25 individual levels. Here, there are various obstacles, such as vacuum cleaners, slides, cannons, and acid rain. As an opponent, there are ' bad-tempered ' mutated monsters that run the framework on fixed tracks, as well as the final boss Yukon Yohan. There is no scrolling of the screen ( single-screen game).

Throughout the game there are conductors ( Genre Platforms'n Ladders ), tubes, vans and lifts, taking you to the hard to reach areas of the framework. The control of the character is relatively difficult: Unlike its predecessor Miner 2049er Bounty Bob has no constant jump distance, but the player must decide during the jump how far this will fail. Through the collection of stylized everyday objects ( screen, telephone, iron, watering ... ) the enemies will for a short time ' friendly ', and thereby safely disposable. Otherwise, when you touch or by the case of a higher altitude you lose a game of life. There is a time limit. The game is equipped with numerous setting options, such as cheat codes and hidden messages.

Graphic

The graphics compared to the previous version has been greatly improved for the prevailing conditions. The cover consists of well- animated birds, the game itself is designed colorful. Music content is relatively low.
