Boxbach

The Boxbach is a 5.8 km long left tributary of perf in the northwest of Gladenbacher mountain country on the territory of the municipality Breidenbach in central Hesse Marburg- Biedenkopf.

After Bach, the former pit Boxbach is named.

Course

The Boxbach rises on the western border Breidenbach Bad Laasphe, close to the eastern seam of Breidenbacher reason, is called as the draining of Perf northwest of the Gladenbacher mountain country, for Rothaargebirge, directly west-southwest of the 561.6 m high Hommerich head.

The creek flows into the northeast and southeast tangent Wiesbach to finally turn to the east and directly to lead above the Perfstausees and north of the core site Breidenbach from the left in the perf.

The Gladenbach

Less than 100 meters above the mouth flows to the Boxbach the Glad Bach ( 2,581,482 ) of the left, who had previously flowed southeast parallel and had the district Kleingladenbach affected south-southeast. At 5.1 km long, this is only slightly shorter, its catchment area increases with 5.434 km ² ( Boxbach above: 7.79 km ² ) is about 40 % of the Boxbachsystems one.
