The Bradley International Airport airport is Logan International Airport in Boston is the largest of New England airport. It is located in Hartford County, in the area of the three places in Windsor Locks, Suffield and East Granby north of Hartford and south of Springfield. Affiliated to the airport, the New England Air Museum.

History

The foundation stone of the airport put the 1940 acquisition of about 7 km ² large property of the State of Connecticut. However, the area was handed over to the U.S. Army to prepare for entry into the Second World War in 1941. After the end of the war Eastern Airlines took in 1947 on the commercial operation.

In July 2007, the first direct link between Connecticut and Europe ( Amsterdam) was added 757-200 and PW2037 engines Northwest Airlines with a Boeing.
