The Brestenberg Castle is a small hotel in the baroque style castle south of Seengen in the Swiss canton of Aargau, about 200 meters from the shores of Lake Hallwil away. This is an original country home of the Lords of Hallwyl, which was 1625 generated by the development of a built already in the 16th century house.

1622 sold Samuel Dean Gruner from Seengen the property Brestenberg for 4500 florins to Hans Rudolf von Hallwyl, who gave a completely new construction in order three years later. 1710 was a stately farm buildings on the east side of the court.
