Brett Martin

Brett Martin ( born January 23, 1963 in Queensland ) is a retired Australian squash player.

Career

Martin comes from a successful squash family. His brother Rodney Martin 1991 world champion, his sister Michelle Martin won from 1993 to 1995 even three times the world championship in women's singles. Brett Martin himself was denied a world title. Its highest ranking in the world ranking was number two in March 1994. This year he was including in the final of the British Open, which he lost in four sets against Jansher Khan. In 1996 and 1997 he was also in the PSA World Series finals, but lost both times. While Del Harris just going down in five sets in 1996, he remained in 1997 against Jansher Khan a chance. Also at the U.S. Open he reached the final again in 1991. This he lost to his brother Rodney.
