Brianne Theisen-Eaton

Brianne Theisen -Eaton ( born December 18, 1988 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan Brianne Theisen as ) is a Canadian athlete. In the discipline heptathlon she is the reigning World silver medalist.

Life

Theisen wurchs in Humboldt as the daughter of a German family. Even during the school she discovered her passion for the sport and participated in track and field World Junior Championships. Through an athlete scholarship she received in 2007 the opportunity to study public administration at the University of Oregon in Eugene, her career took her case continued.

In Berlin, she reached the fifteenth place finish at the World Athletics Championships in 2009. The competition of Siebenkäpferinnen in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, she was able to complete as Elftplatzierte. At the World Athletics Championships 2013 in Moscow she obtained the silver medal. It reached 6530 points, 56 less than the winner Hanna Melnytschenko. This also put them on a new personal best.

Personal

While a student, she met her future husband Ashton Eaton, whom she married in July 2013. Along with it, she lives in the university town of Eugene.
