Bridgewater, Tasmania

Bridgewater is a small town in the southeast of the Australian state of Tasmania. It lies about 19 ​​km north of the center of Hobart and is one of the northern suburbs of the capital of Tasmania.

Location

The city lies on the north bank of the River Derwent and is part of the Local Government Area Brighton Municipality.

Bridgewater is located on the Midland Highway ( N1), where the East Derwent Highway (B32 ) and the Boyer Road ( B10) to meet him. The two state primary schools were merged; the new school in Greenpoint is now called East Derwent Primary School.
