The airport Brno - Tuřany (IATA: BRQ, ICAO: LKTB ) is a public, international airport. It is located about seven kilometers south-east from the center of the Moravian capital of Brno in Šlapanice.

History

The History of the Brno airport began in 1923, when the Ministry became interested in public works for the construction of an airport. Due to its suitability to the field at Černovice was selected as the site for the airport.
