The Brookton Highway is a highway in the southeast of the Australian state of Western Australia. It connects the Albany Highway in Kelmscott, a southeastern suburb of Perth with the South Coast Highway at Raventhorpe. The highway is accessible via a two-lane road and is designated State Route 40 ( S40).

Course

The highway begins in Kelmscott on the southeastern outskirts of Perth. There it branches off from the Albany Highway ( S30) to east - southeast. By Westdale it leads to Brookton, where it crosses the Great Southern Highway ( S120). From there, the Brookton Highway moves on to the east, crossing the Avon River and reached the city of Corrigin, with about 900 inhabitants and is the largest settlement on this street.
