Bruce Surtees
Bruce Surtees ( born July 23, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, † February 23, 2012 in Carmel, California ) was an American cinematographer.
Life
Bruce Surtees, son of cinematographer and Academy Award winner Robert Surtees, Following his training at the Art Center School in Los Angeles for several years as a film camera man at the Disney Group, then as a camera assistant in his father's films. As a director of photography from the year 1970, he photographed especially numerous films with Clint Eastwood. Only occasionally, such as in film chains of gold was Surtees by critics otherwise than by routine- craft art work ("... only photographically above average" ) certifies. For his work ( black and white) to Lenny, he was nominated for an Oscar.
On February 23, 2012 Surtess died due to complications of his diabetes disease.
