Bruno Conti

Conti 1982

Bruno Conti ( born March 13, 1955 in Nettuno, Rome) is an Italian former football player, coach and functionary.

Career

Conti played a long time at AS Roma, with whom he was 1982/83 under Nils Liedholm Italian master. In 16 championship seasons, he scored 37 goals. 1979/80, 1980/81, 1983/84 and 1985/86 he won the Coppa Italia with Roma.

His first cap for Italy Bruno Conti graduated on October 11, 1980 Enzo Bearzot 's 2-0 victory in Luxembourg. With its outstanding performance, the midfielder was instrumental in winning the football World Cup in Spain in 1982. Especially in the final against Germany, he showed why he was named in his homeland of Brazil. Until 1986, he scored five goals in 47 appearances for the Italian national team.

During the crisis, season 2004/ 05 Conti led the fourth coach of the season the team of AS Roma in the Cup final against Inter Milan, and thus in the UEFA Cup, as Inter had already qualified for the Champions League. Today Conti 's youth coach of AS Roma.
