1982–83 Serie A
The Serie A 1982/83 was the 50th season of the Italian Serie A. began the season on 13 September 1981. Promoted as Hellas Verona, Pisa Calcio Sampdoria came from Serie B to do so. The season as champion finished the Roma and thus became the successor to Juventus. The qualification for the European Champions Cup abolished the Roma. For the UEFA Cup to Inter Milan and Hellas Verona qualified. About the Coppa Italia Juventus Turin secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Relegated to the B series had to Cagliari Calcio, AC Cesena and U.S. Catanzaro.
