1939–40 Serie A

The Serie A 1939/40, was the 11th season of the Italian Football League Serie A. It all began the season on 17 September 1939. The last round was 2 June 1940. Promoted as Fiorentina and AC Venice came from series B thereto. Ambrosiana - Inter ended the season as champions and thus became the successor to the AGC Bologna. In the B series AC Liguria and FC Modena had to dismount.
