1970–71 Serie A
The Serie A 1970/71 was the 38th season of the Italian Serie A. began the season on 27 September 1970. Promoted as Varese FC, U.S. Foggia and Catania Calcio Serie B came from it. The season as champion finished the Inter Milan and thus became the successor of Cagliari Calcio. The qualification for the European Champions Cup Inter managed. For the UEFA Cup, the AC Milan, Napoli, Juventus and Bologna FC qualified. About the Coppa Italia, the Torino secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Relegated to the B series had Foggia, Lazio and Catania.
