1961–62 Serie A

The Serie A 1961/62 was the 29th season of the Italian Serie A. began the season on 27 August 1961. The last round was on 15 April 1962. Promoted as the AC came Venice, Mantova and Ozo, FC Palermo series B thereto. The season as champion finished the AC Milan and thus became the successor to Juventus. The qualification for the European Cup of Champions managed to Milan. For the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the Roma and Sampdoria qualified. About the Coppa Italia to AC Naples secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Relegated to the B series had the Padova Calcio, Calcio Lecco and Udinese Calcio.
