1968â€“69 Serie A
The Serie A in 1968/69 was the 36th season of the Italian Football League Serie A. It all began the season on 29 September 1968. The last round was 18 Mai 1969. Came as newly promoted SS Palermo, Hellas Verona and Pisa SC from the series B to do so. The ACF Fiorentina ended the season as champions and thus became the successor to the AC Milan. The qualification for the European Cup of Champions managed to Florence and the AC Milan winner of the European Champions Cup in 1968/69. For the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, the U.S. Cagliari, Inter Milan, Juventus and Napoli qualified. About the Coppa Italia, the AS Roma secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Add to Serie B Varese FC, Pisa and Atalanta had to dismount.
