1969–70 Serie A

The Serie A 1969/70 was the 37th season of the Italian Football League Serie A. AC Brescia had started the season on 14 September 1969. The last round was the 26th April 1970. Climbers came as Lazio, and the AS Bari in the Serie B this. U.S. Cagliari ended the season as champions and thus became the successor to the ACF Fiorentina. The qualification for the European Cup of Champions managed to Cagliari. For the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup to Inter Milan, Juventus, Lazio Florence and Rome qualified. About the Coppa Italia, FC Bologna secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Add to Serie B Brescia, Palermo and Bari SS had to dismount.
