1984–85 Serie A

The Serie A in 1984/85 was the 52nd season of the Italian Serie A. began the season on 12 September 1983. Promoted as Atalanta, Como Calcio and U.S. Cremonese came from Serie B to do so. The season as champion finished Hellas Verona and thus became the successor to Juventus. The qualification for the European Cup of Champions managed Hellas Verona and Juventus as the winner in the European Champions Cup in 1983/84. For the UEFA Cup to Torino Calcio, Inter Milan and AC Milan qualified. About the Coppa Italia, the Sampdoria secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Relegated to the Serie B Ascoli Calcio had, Cremonese and Lazio.
