1959–60 Serie A

The Serie A 1959/60 was the 27th season of the Italian Football League Serie A. The season began on September 21, 1958, the last round was on June 7, 1959. Came as newly promoted Atalanta and Palermo from Serie B to do so. The season as champion finished Juventus and thus became the successor to the AC Milan. The qualification for the European Cup of Champions managed Juventus. For the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup to Inter Milan and AS Roma qualified. About the Coppa Italia ACF Fiorentina participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year secured. Relegated to the B series had to Palermo, U.S. Alessandria and Genoa.
