1979–80 Serie A
The Serie A 1979/80 was the 47th season of the Italian Serie A. began the season on 16 September 1979. Promoted as Udinese Calcio, Cagliari Calcio and Pescara Calcio Serie B came from it. The season as champion finished the Inter Milan and thus became the successor to the AC Milan. The qualification for the European Champions Cup Inter managed. For the UEFA Cup to Juventus and Torino Calcio qualified. About the Coppa Italia, the AS Roma secured the participation in the European Cup Winners' Cup the following year. Relegated to the Serie B Pescara and had the AC Milan and Lazio, as a result of a bribery scandal in 1980.
