Hermann Felsner

Hermann Felsner ( born April 1, 1889 in Vienna, † February 6, 1977 in Graz, Styria ) was an Austrian football coach, who celebrated his greatest successes in Italy. With his parent club FC Bologna he was in 1925, 1929, 1939 and 1941 the Scudetto, for a total of four times to win the Italian championship. With the CFC Genoa he won in 1937 in the Coppa Italia.

Career

Hermann Felsner was active as a player, even when Wiener Sport - Club, 1920 he took his first coach Engagement at FC Bologna in Italy. 1925 could reach with his club with a victory in the final of the Northern League with the CFC Genoa the final of the Italian Cup, which clearly won the Bologna FC 2-0 and 4-0 against Alba Rome. After these successes in Bologna, the Austrians, however, had to make in 1930 Gyula Lelovics as new coach's seat, he went in 1931 to AC Fiorentina. With the Ascended Fiorentinern he reached in his debut in Serie A is equal to the fourth. As early as 1933, however, left Hermann Felsner Florence and went to Sampierdarenese Genova, in Serie B, which was obtained immediately. After two years in Serie A with Genoa Hermann Felsner took in 1936 a commitment to Genoa, with whom he won for the second time played Coppa Italia 1937. The final ended 1-0 against AS Roma.

After one season at AC Milan and a third place in Seria Hermann Felsner 1938 could return to his former workplace FC Bologna. Here in 1939 he was again champion, 1940 runner-up and 1941 champion again. In 1940 he was defeated in the championship for the third time just by Anton Cargnellis club, who supervised at this time Inter Milan. Later Hermann Felsner was still working as sports director at Bologna in 1949 and coached again AS Livorno in Serie A.
