Bulovka

Bulovka ( German Bullendorf ) is a municipality in the North Bohemian Okres Liberec, Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers northeast of Frýdlant ( Friedland ) in Isergebirgsvorland.

History

Bullendorf consisted of two parts; the first was placed under the Friedlander rule and the second is the Grafensteiner rule. In both parts, the Upper and Lower Bullendorf were called later, there were fiefdoms, but fell early 16th century. Count Gallas bought in 1654 and 1675 Upper Lower Bullendorf Bullendorf. Even after the Thirty Years War witnessed the united community Bullendorf a difficult time by emigration and increased obligations of serfdom. Therefore, the residents actively involved in the resistance of its leader Andreas Stelzig.

In 1790 there were 131 houses in the community. 1833 lived in Bullendorf already 1,173 inhabitants, where there were already a school, Vorwerk and a mill. The community was dominated by agriculture; in the first half of the 19th century the weaving originated. The place was from the mid-19th century to the judicial district of Friedland Friedland or the district.

The largest number of inhabitants had Bullendorf lived around 1850, when in the community more than 1,600 people; then the population declined steadily. In 1910, only 1,259 people lived in the village of Bull.

The municipality consists of the villages Bulovka Arnoltice ( Arnsdorf ) Bulovka ( Bullendorf ) and Dolni Oldřiš ( Niederullersdorf ), at the same time also form Katastralbezirke.
