The Central Medical Service of the Bundeswehr ( ZSanDstBw ) is created in the course of the Bundeswehr reform since 2000 from the former area of the Central Medical Service Organization authorities, a largely centralized paramedical THE SERVICE forces and resources from other areas of the organization. The Central Medical Service of the Bundeswehr is not in itself part of armed force, but takes as a military organization area ( military organizational ) true cross-sectional tasks for Army, Air Force, Navy and armed forces base. Uniform, badges, ranks

The Central Medical Service of the Bundeswehr ( ZSanDstBw ) does not have a uniform. Members of the ZSanDstBw wear Army, Air Force or Navy uniform. At the service shirt all Uniform was recognized membership in the ZSanDstBw at a round buttons with caduceus on the Iron Cross, which was mounted on the right side of the shirt collar. For Uniform of the Army and the Air Force, he was silver, for the Navy and for generals, he was golden. On October 1, 2012, he was, however, placed at the command of the Inspector of the Medical Service, General Surgeon Dr. Ingo Patschke.

Uniform of the Army also differ from army soldiers by the cornflower blue beret and the dark blue color guns. The rank names in ZSanDstBw correspond to those of the Army, Air Force and Navy. Only doctors, pharmacists and veterinarians ( SanOffz doctor / Apo / Vet ) have their own rank titles, but not the officers in the medical corps ( SanDstOffz ).

Structure

As with all other areas of the organization 's management structure was also reorganized for the Central Medical Service of the Bundeswehr. Training

On September 20, 2011 Defence Minister Thomas de Maizière has announced that as part of the reorientation of the Bundeswehr is planned to reduce the number of active soldiers in the central medical service to a maximum of 15,120. Of these, 14,120 are supposed to be professional soldiers / time soldiers and between 500 and 1,000 voluntary compulsory military service ( FWDL ).
