Bungeoppang

Bungeoppang is a Korean pastry in the form of a fish, similar to the Japanese Taiyaki.

They are baked with a waffle iron in the form of a fish. The batter is poured into the fish-shaped mold, Anko added and then added again dough over. They are often offered at roadside stalls.

In Korean bungeo called ( 붕어 ) the species of fish crucian and ppang ( 빵 ) means bread. Alternatively, the pastry is also called Ingeoppang ( German carp bread), as Ingeo ( 잉어 ) means carp.
