Butter (2011 film)

All in butter ( Original title: butter) is an American comedy film directed by Jim Field Smith with Olivia Wilde and Jennifer Garner in the lead roles.

Action

The young orphan Destiny discovers her unusual talent for carving butter sculptures. You shall thereupon enter in the annual competition against other women from her hometown.

Production

Butter was produced by the company Michael De Luca Productions, Vandalia Films, The Weinstein Company. Kate Hudson was considered for the role of Brooke, but opted for Borrowed and was thus replaced by Olivia Wilde.

Twist

The U.S. comedy was shot in the state of Louisiana in the cities of Bossier City and Shreveport. Filming began on 6 April and ended on 19 May 2010. The script was written by Jason A. Micallef, who gave his début as a screenwriter. For the recordings, the German Arricam ST- camera was used to take in the scene as 35 - mm film with an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 and has been processed in the digital intermediate than 2K.

Publications

The comedy premiered on September 4, 2011 at the Telluride Film Festival. On 13 September 2011, the film at the Toronto International Film Festival, Canada was presented. It was followed by other performances at film festival in the United States. The official release date was in the United States and on 18 October in Russia on 5 October 2012.

In Germany the film was released on November 22, 2013 on DVD.
