Bystřice pod Lopeníkem

Bystřice pod Lopeníkem until 1923 Bystřice ( German Bistrita under Lopenik, formerly Bistrzitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers south-east of Uherský Brod and belongs to Okres Uherské Hradiště.

Geography

Bystřice pod Lopeníkem is located on the northern slope of the White Carpathian Mountains on the edge of the nature reserve PLA White Carpathians. The village is located in the valley of the brook Nivnická, which is referred to herein as Bystřička, creek at the mouth of Pivný. To the north of the Široké (425 m), Skalky ( 465 m) and Hradek rise (521 m), in the northeast of Bučník (552 m ) southeast of the Vysoký vrch ( 698 m), in the south of the Municipal háj (536 m ) and northwest of the Kopec and Skalky ( 387 m). South of the village runs the state road 50 between I/50/E Uherský Brod and Trenčianska Turná. Southwest is the reservoir Ordějov.

Neighboring towns are Nový Dvůr Nezdenice and Záhorovice in the north, Komňa in the northeast, Nový Dvůr and Vápenice in the east, Uhliska and Troják the southeast, Mechnáč and Lopeník in the south, Korytná the southwest, Podhorský Mlýn and Sucha Loz in the west and Zámeček and Banov in northwest,

History

The first written record of Bystřička took place in 1374 as part of the Good Banov. Since 1405 Bystřice formed with the celebrations Ordějov a separate asset that remained connected to Banov. 1513 were the farm and the mill Ordějov Ordějovský Mlýn first mentioned. It is believed that during the Middle Ages on the right bank of the Nivnická on the corridor splav was also a village Ordějov. However Written proof has to exist. In the 16th and 17th centuries Bystřice was repeatedly looted and vandalized during incursions of the Turks, Tatars and Hungary. The oldest town seal dates from 1687. Dominik Andreas I von Kaunitz, who had acquired Banov with Bystřice 1694, proposed the goods to his rule Uherský Brod.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bystřice / Bistrzitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. Since 1923, the municipality bears the name Bystřice pod Lopeníkem. After the abolition of Okres Uherský Brod came Bystřice pod Lopeníkem the end of 1960 to Okres Uherské Hradiště. In the years 1969-1971 the Nivnická was dammed below Ordějov. The run-down since the 1950s Ordějov yard was flooded in the late 1970s when a dam break of crowded lake. In 1986, the demolition of dilapidated farm.
